Description

The 108 drawings of Greyfriars, Gloucester, range in date from the early 1960s to 2002. The earliest drawings are surveys by the city architect and the Ministry of Public Buildings and Works.

In 1966 the city architect produced a survey prior to refurbishment consisting of five drawings.

There are three drawings suggestive of archaeological survey - a plan of the quire and walking place showing burials from 1967, and a site plan and isometric drawing of a tomb from circa. 1975.

There are four photogrammetric elevations made by Atkins AMC for English Heritage from 1993. These elevations were re-used and amended to show proposed repairs and conservation by Michael Reardon and associates (fourteen small copied drawings from the mid 1990s) and a further fourteen larger drawings from 1997.

The Atkins AMC elevations were again amended between 2001 and 2002 by Richard Glover A.R.I.C.S., producing twenty-four drawings.

In addition there are seven drawings of an archaeological survey conducted some time after 1981, four of which are oversized.
