Description

191 sheets ranging from December 1931 to September 2002, many are plans, sections and elevations of differing designs, for new museums and ticket offices in buildings covering the pit shafts. Other plans, sections and elevations are for the construction of caretaker's accommodation with construction details for the interior and exterior with drainage/sewage information. Some are excavation plans and sections showing the pits, shafts and subterranean chambers. Two oversized drawings are of plans of pit fifteen and the Greenwells pit at Grimes Graves.
