Description

Twenty-four sheets, including a number of drawings from the late 1920s relating to the proposed siting of the monument, and several drawings from the mid to late 1930s concerning its construction and unveiling ceremony. A sheet from 1940 relates to damage to the base caused by a bus, and the most recent item is a survey plan made in 2007.
