This folder includes Ordnance Survey sheets from the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, some of which have been annotated to show land ownership, guardianship issues and proposals for transfer of lands to the Ministry of Works. There is a bound volume of three annotated maps from 1938 relating to the Roman Wall and Vallum Preservation Scheme.

There are several sheets from the 1950s relating to a proposed new bridge and some from the 1960s relating to parts of the wall affected by road improvements.

A number of deed plans from the late 1970s are included. There are a number of drawings of structures on the National Trust estate from the early 1980s, and surveys of Winshields Milecastle and Great Chesters from 1985 and 1986.

The set also includes rectified photographic surveys of walls from 1985 to 2000, a topographic survey from 1985 and photogrammetric surveys from between 1987 and 1998.
