Description
172 plans of Hardwick Old Hall and of the new hall built next door: Hardwick Hall, a National Trust property. The plans of the new hall date from the early-twentieth-century to 1969 and show the status of its roof trusses, proposals for a heating system and other works. The majority of the plans of the old hall are from the late 1970s to 1980s with a number from before this, the 1990s and early-twenty-first-century. These include drawings of works on the west lodge from the 1960s to 1990s, and on the retaining wall north of the hall from the mid 1970s to early 1980s. Also a topographical survey of the site in September 1979, a photogrammetric survey from 1979 to 1980 and drawings showing necessary repair work to the hall's plaster in July 2000 to April 2001.
