438 sheets dating from the late-nineteenth century to the early twenty-first century, with many from the early 1900s and the mid- to late twentieth century, including photogrammetric surveys, as well as a few excavation drawings and a large number of topographical surveys and plans of the Kirby Hall site. These show constructional phases and work planned to be carried out on the house, as well as water and electrical power supplies to the whole site.
There are many site plans showing the boundaries and land that has been transferred over the years. There are also many elevations showing parts of the Inner Quadrangle, and details of windows and the balcony in the courtyard.
Other plans relate to the proposed car and coach park, as well as the drive entrance and access roads to the site. Some drawings show plans, sections and elevations of the work carried out to the roof of Kirby Hall, including its re-slating and strengthening. A few plans show the development of the custodians cottages on the site.
A number of sheets relate to the re-construction and development of the garden at Kirby Hall, including work on the fountain and the proposed stone screen. In addition, there are elevations and sections illustrating excavations of the garden terrace.
There are several oversized drawings, showing labelled plans of Kirby Hall and a topographic survey.
