Description
399 drawings ranging from 1899 to 2010 but largely from the 1950s to 1980s.
There are copies of three drawings of the house by Ambrose M Poynter and Pieter Rodeck, dated 1899 to 1900. There are proposals for a custodian's cottage in the 1950s and a car-park in the 1960s.
A topographical survey of the site, photogrammetric surveys of the cells and proposals for visitor facilities in the house all date from 1978.
From the 1980s there are a large number of drawings relating to repairs to the guest house and reconstruction of cell eight. There are also electrical drawings for the house and proposals for a pedestrian bridge next to the car-park.
There are seven oversized drawings which are mostly plans of the abbey site and for the construction of the custodians cottage.
