380 drawings beginning with copies of early to mid eighteenth century drawings of the fort, then one dated 1894 and the rest dating from the early twentieth century to early twenty-first century, with many from the 1970s and 1980s. These include the text and layout for display panels from 1968, sheets concerning tidal defences in the late 1960s to early 1970s, surveys of the river wall in 1971 and 1974, plans for a ticket office in 1973 to 1974 and for a car-park in 1978 to 1979.
From the 1960s to 1980s there are proposals for bridges over the moat and in 2001 rectified photography of the Water Gate and powder magazines. There are also four sheets of oversized drawings showing site surveys and levels at Tilbury Fort, and eight oversized drawings of the Fort and the Thames Estuary produced for presentation.
The most recent drawing relates to relocation of the east powder magazine crane.
