Description

An album comprising of 38 black and white images, demonstrating school and college buildings throughout the county of Northumberland, attributable to the Reavell and Cahill architectural practice. The spine of the album is labelled "Schools" and the images depict a range of Primary, Middle and Secondary schools, as well as one higher education college, in Alnwick, Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland and Hartlepool. The images range in date from the late 1950s to the early 1970s and all deptic Roman Catholic denomination schools. 15 images can be credited to the Phillipson Studios of Newcastle upon Tyne. The reverse of these album pages contain a stamp of the Philipson Studios and a unique image reference code, presumably specific to that companies records.

The album also contains 3 duplicate images, 2 of which are found in album RAC01/01/02 and 1 from RAC01/01/03.
