The series contains 377 drawings, drawn between 1993 and 1994, which relate to the English Farmsteads Project conducted by the RCHME, resulting in the publication 'English Farmsteads 1750-1914', dated 1997. The drawings relate to buildings in Cornwall (RCH01/013/02/001-065), Cheshire (066-123), Berkshire (124-188), Lincolnshire (189-305) and Northumberland (306-377).
