Description

Sales brochure for the Aldworth estate including house, gardens, stables, outbuildings, tennis lawns, estate cottages and the ld Manor House Farm. The brochure gives details of the rooms of the main residence and descriptions of the grounds and other buildings. There are three reproductions of photographic prints showing the exterior of the house, the library, and the Manor Farm House. The auctioneer is J S Castiglione of 24 Haymarket, London, and the Solicitors Messrs Arnold and Henry White of Great Marlborough Street, London. Aldworth House was the country home of Lord Tennyson, where he died in 1892.
