This Project Planning Note is aimed at project managers developing and issuing written good-practice guidance and standards for historic environment sector work. It applies equally to projects that aim to develop new documents, or revise existing documents. The focus of this PPN is on how to develop the content, irrespective of the format used for dissemination. It can be applied to traditional publications, digital documents and web pages used to convey good-practice or set standards.

This Project Planning Note is intended to be read in conjunction with the MoRPHE Project Managers Guide which gives generic guidance on project management.
