St Paul's Church, Burdett Road, Stepney E3 - Tower Hamlets

Designed by architect Robert Maguire, the church was consecrated on the 30th April 1960. The church is based on a rectangular plan centred on the altar, with projections to the northwest and southeast for the porch and the baptistry, and an adjacent vicarage. Following renewal of the lantern ceiling panels in 2015 and 2016, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the church was taken off the register. Now the porch roof and the aisle roofs are leaking, and the concrete structures are at risk.
