Details
ADCROFT STREET 1. 5411 (South-West Side) Nos 16 and 17 ST 8558 5/132 II GV
2. Circa 1857. 2 storey pair continuing terrace (Nos 18-29), slightly higher and with parapet. Painted ashlar. Plinth, band over ground floor, narrow cornice and blocking course. Double roman tiled roof, 2 ridge chimneys, 1 window each with plain raised shallow pediments over on ground floor, No 16 late glazed sashes, No 17 modern casements. Plain doors to left with scrolled brackets to cornices. Small segmental headed throughway arch to left of No 17. Raking top dormers to rear.
Nos 1 to 13 (consec), the centre block of the District Hospital and Nos 16 to 29 (consec) form a group.
