2. Early C19, somewhat reduced by a wartime bomb but patched up. 2 storeys and attic. Brick. Chamfered stone quoins. Moulded stone cornice. Brick parapet and moulded stone coping ramped to right. Stone tile roof; gable to chimney at rear. 2 dormers with heavily moulded pediment heads, the right hand segmental. Glazing bar sash windows. 6 windows on 1st floor, all with moulded stone cills and architraves. 5 similar windows on ground floor each with additional pulvinated frieze and cornice. 6 panel door in 2nd bay from left in stone doorcase of engaged 3/4 columns with attenuated Ionic caps and entablature with pulvinated frieze, modillioned cornice and segmental pediment. The window above door 4 panes wide. 2 storey square bay at south east end with quadrants to sides. Good contemporary stair with panelled and reeded ends to steps, plain rails and moulded hand rail swept in wide curve with bottom steps. Hall doorcases have architrave cornice on reeded console brackets. Same contemporary plaster.

Nos. 50 to 58 (consec), workshop at rear of No 58, entrance screen principal Factory and Handle House at Studley Mills form a group.
