Gatehouse and bridge. Possibly late C15 gatehouse, altered C17, C18 bridge. Random rubble stone, stone slate roof with brick stack to left. Two-storey, 1-window. Moulded Tudor-arched doorway with double planked doors to centre, 2-light leaded casement to left and 4-light ovolo-mullioned casement with king mullion to first floor. Rear has double planked doors to left and 4-light ovolo-mullioned casement with king mullion and hoodmould to first floor. Interior not accessible at time of survey (June 1987) but upper room said to have been used as a cheeseroom. Bridge over moat to gatehouse. probably C18, brick, two small segmental arches, parapet with flat stone coping. (Wiltshire County Council)
