railings and gate

GV II
Farmhouse. Late C17. Rubble stone, stone slate roof with coped
verges, gable end stone stacks. Two-storey, 5-window. Central 6-
panelled door in chamfered surround with transom light, two 2-light
ovolo-mullioned casements either side. Continuous lintel string
course carried up over doorway. First floor has five 2-light
mullioned casements with lintel string course. Right return has
blocked 2-light mullioned window with hoodmould and single attic
casement. Late C18 gabled wing to left of and flush with front has
2-light ovolo-mullioned casement to ground and first floor, Welsh
slate roof with coped verge. Rear has three gabled wings with C20
mullioned casements and lean-to extension to left. Interior not
inspected. Cast-iron spearhead railings on stone dwarf walls
attached to front of house, single cast-iron gate with dog bars and
iron piers with anthemion finials.
