CORSHAM HIGH STREET ST 8770 (east side) 5/175 No 30 GV II

House, early to mid C18, facade altered in C19, ashlar fronted with stone tiled roof, coped north gable and end stack. Two storeys and attic, 2-window range. One hipped dormer to right. Main front has pilaster quoins to first floor left, coved eaves cornice, and 2 first floor windows in architrave surrounds with rounded upper corners, moulded sills and keystones. C19 plate glass sashes. Window surrounds possibly C19. C19 ground floor shop front with recessed door to right and fretted brackets in fascia. Ashlar piers each side have rock-faced pennant stone blocks at fascia level. Rubble stone side wall. Rear has imitation slate roof, rear wing with coped east gable and apex dove openings, bead- moulded mullion windows, single light to attic and two 2-lights to first floor. North side stack.
