CORSHAM HIGH STREET (west side) No 19 and 21

(Formerly listed as No 21, High Street)

GV II Two houses, now shops, C18 and C19. Left side is roughcast with stone tiled roof, coped north gable and north end stack. Two storeys with upper small C19 sash to left and large early C19, 6-18-6 pane sash to right. Ground floor circular window with cornice to left of C19 double-fronted shop front. Right side is apparently mid C18, ashlar fronted with Bridgwater tile roof and centre ridge stack. Three storeys, 2-window range with angle quoin pilasters, plinth, 2 string courses and moulded eaves, courses broken forward over pilasters. Windows in raised bead-moulded surrounds with C19 glazing, 2-pane upper windows, paired plate glass sashes to first floor and ground floor right. Ground floor left has C19 shop front with 6-panel door to right. Brick 2-storey extension behind, hipped stair tower to right.
