LACOCK CORSHAM ROAD ST 86 NE 2/72 New Farmhouse GV II
Farmhouse, late C18, limewashed rubble stone with stone slate roofs coped gables, end stacks and one ridge stack at original end wall. Two storeys, L-plan. Original range faces east, with flush quoins, 5 first floor 2-light cyma-moulded mullion windows, centre 4-panel door in chamfered surround with hood on brackets, and C19 triple casement to ground floor each side. Rear stone-mullioned cross window stair light. Wing running east from north end has roof hipped at north-west angle, evidence of progressive enlargement in stonework and full-height slate-roofed C19 or C20 verandah across south front. South front has 3-window range, 2 first floor 2-light cyma-moulded mullion windows, casements elsewhere. South end wall has outside steps up to first floor door. Farm is not marked on 1773 Andrews and Drury map.
