GV II
Detached house. Early C18 core with late C18 addition. Rubble to core range, squared and coursed dressed stone with blocked ashlar dressings to south addition; stone slate roof to core range, Welsh slates with ashlar copings and end ashlar stacks to addition. Three-storey, 3-window south front. Windows are 16-pane sashes set in deep reveals. Central round-arched doorway with 6-panel door, 2 top lights and spoked fanlight. First and second floor platbands. The house derives its name from the close proximity of an askew railway bridge.
