The Barton
GV II
Row of three cottages, rebuilt 1829 from C18 range. Rough rendered
rubble stone with stone tiled roofs and 3 stacks. 2 storey, 6-
window range of plate glass sashes in plain stone surrounds.
Ground floor door and window to each cottage. Added c20 porches and
ground floor window to Nos 3 and 4. Datestone P B M 1829. Rear
north west upper cornerstone has 1776 date scratched. Listed for
group value.
