GV II

House, C18 and earlier origins, heavily altered 1930 and later. Previously 3 cottages. Rubble stone with stone tiled roofs. One-and-a-half storeys. Leaded cyma-moulded 2-light mullion windows with dripstdnes over, apparently all C20, but renewing original windows on west front. West front to river has main gable with dove opening and two 2-light windows to ground and first floors, lean-to in south west angle and wings to north and south, each previously a single cottage, that to south formerly thatched. North wing has ridge stack and half-hipped gable over C20 mullion and transom north end window. South wing has 2 dormer gables with 2-light windows and one 2-light ground floor window, ashlar corniced ridge stack and large renewed rear wall outside stack on east side. Main range runs east with present entry on north side under 2 dormer gables, lean-to C20 range to left with 2 hipped dormers above, all heavily renewed or C20. South side has range of four C20 dormer gables. Interior: heavy roof timbers to main range and to south wine. At west end of main range, north wall fireplace with timber lintel and datestone in wall above MN 1655.
