YATTON KEYNELL BROOMS LANE ST 87 NE 3/489 Brooms Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse, dated F. C. 1728 but said to have C15 origins, rubble stone with Bridgwater tile roof and west end stack. 2 storeys, double fronted with one 3-light and one 2-light bead-moulded window with hoodmould to each floor and fine gabled ashlar porch with dripcourse and chamfered doorcase, the apex carrying large square sundial on square shaft, finial over. Lean-to on west end. Rear wing with east side 4-light bead-moulded first floor window with hoodmould and ground floor bead-moulded mullion and transom window with 4-light bead-moulded long mullion window with hoodmould to right. One bead-moulded 2-light window with hoodmould to first floor west side.
