HULLAVINGTON THE STREET ST 88 SE (east side) 5/38 Gardener's Farmhouse 12.12.51 - II
Farmhouse. Dated SM/1695 (on north gable) with later addition and alterations. Coursed rubble with flush rusticated dressed stone quoins and copings and dressed stone to windows on 1695 block, wooden lintels to later range. Steeply pitched gabled stone slate roofs with paired stone and brick stack on ridge where the two ranges meet and north end stone stack. T-shaped plan with 1695 range set at right-angles to road and later wing parallel to road. South front of 2 storeys, 4 bays. All windows are 2-light ovolo mullions (3 blocked). First floor continuous string course which extends around the block until it meets the later range on the west facade. On west gable end of early range the windows have hoodmoulds. C19 two and 3-light casement fenestration to west facade of later range. Six-panel door in angle with top two panels glazed and concrete porch.
