1359/8/110 HIGH STREET 12-DEC-51 (South side) 40 CHELTENHAM HOUSE (Formerly listed as: HIGH STREET 42)

II House and shop. Late C18 altered in the C19 and C20. Coursed rubble with flush rusticated dressed stone quoins, stone dressings to windows and gabled stone slate roof with 2 stone stacks. Two-storey, 3-window north front. Windows are C19 sashes with marginal glazing in blocked surrounds;semicircular C20 small pane glazed shop bay to right. Central doorway with flat hood on brackets and 6-panel door with the top 2 panels glazed.
