C18, altered mid C19. 'L'-plan. One and a half storeys thatched. Painted
chalk rubble on hard stone base. Brick ridge chimney. Roof hipped to right.
Two large gables for attic windows, segmental headed 3-light casements, the
right hand in brick, the left hand with brick lining. One angled bay and one
window on ground floor (segmental headed casements). Titcheners Cottage entered
from rear. Lilac Cottage has segmental headed door in single-storey section
to right of window. Titcheners Cottage has a small 2-light garret casement
in north gable and a cellar light below right hand window. Lilac Cottage has
brick half hipped gable end above ground floor.
