2. Early C19. Two and a half storeys. Rubble with red brick front. Ashlar lintels and plinth. Mansard slate roof, half nipped to south-east. Three dormers. Three brick chimneys, gable end attic windows. Four windows, glazing bar sashes, tripartite, except on first floor over entrance which is left of centre and has moulded hood, now on iron supports, wide bead moulded jambs, half glazed door with patterned overlight. Low single storey cowshed, rubble with slate roof to left. Former cheese room extension to right forming 'L'. Lean-to in angle (at rear) for pump etc. Washhouse and coach-house/servants rooms to rear - stone with half hipped valley roof. The farmhouse appears to owe its origin to the canal (like Wharf Farmhouse, qv).
