GREENCROFT STREET 1. 1594 No 71 (Barley Mow Public House) SU 1430 SE 2/486 II 2. Circa 1820-3O. 2 storeys red brick on projecting brick plinth. Low pitch gable end slate roof, banded brick stacks to gable ends. Flat eaves. Painted board between storeys with name of public house. Symmetrical fenestration. 3 windows 1st floor, centre blind with name panel, 2 on ground floor, flush framed sashes, glazing bars intact, flat rubbed arches. Central recessed narrow double doors, 4 flush panels, 2 glazed, rectanpilar 4 pane fanlight. Panelled reveals. Panelled doorcase and head. Projecting moulded cornice.
