1. 5409 RUSSELL STREET Nos 1 and 3 SU 0931 5/83 II GV

2. Includes No 2 North Street. Late C18. 2 storeys, red and blue brick, English bond. Modern concrete tile roof. No 1: double fronted with flush moulded frames to late glazed sashes on 1st floor and central panel. Ground floor to right a 5x4 pane glazing bar sash with segmental gault brick head, to left an early C19 shop window with reeded pilasters to fascia brackets, dentil cornice to fascia and bowed glazing bar window. Central 6-panel door with cut brackets to flat hood. Return to North Street (No 2) has similar shop window (lacking bow and reeded pilasters), 1/2 glazed door to left and canted oriel on 1st floor. 1 window extension to left with marginal glazing on ground floor. No 3: slightly later, double fronted with smaller windows, 2-light casements on 1st floor, cross glazed sashes on ground floor, central 4-panel (flush-type) door.
