Detached farmhouse, now house. C16 2-bay house, rebuilt late C17, late C18 east additions, mid-C19 extension to east, C20 renovations. Rendered C17 walls, Flemish bond to C18 and C19 additions, tiled roof with brick and limestone stacks. L-plan. 2- storey, 4-window front. C20 central door in C18 part, has rustic porch of reused timbers, to left is C20 casement. First floor has two C20 casements to left, C17 part to right has two single recessed chamfered lights. Right return has central blocked door with C20 casements either side, catslide roof has two hipped dormers with casements. Rear has C20 glazed conservatory to ground floor, first floor has two C20 casements. Main range to left has C20 casement on return, and C20 casements to ground and first floors of gable. Interior not accessible but said to have late C17 open fireplace with timber Tudor arch on chamfered brick jambs, late C18 addition has chamfered ceiling beams. RCHM recorded C16 timber-framing, including a jettied first floor on the west side, now encased by C17 rebuild. (Unpublished records of RCHM (England), Salisbur).
