Details
ORCHESTON ORCHESTON ST. MARY SU 04 NE (east side) 2/183 Cozens GV II Detached house. Mid C18. Cob, tiled hipped roof with brick stacks. L-plan C18, with 1930s extension to make a square plan. 2-storey, 3-window front; central C20 door and porch with 3-light leaded casement either side, first floor has three 3-light leaded casements; all with segmental heads. Left return has planked door and one 3-light casement to ground and first floor. Right return has 3-light casement and French windows to ground floor, with two 3-light casements to first floor. To rear is 1930s addition with 2-light and 3-light leaded casements and half-glazed door, late C20 extension to rear right. Interior has doors with 6 fielded panels and moulded architraves, stairs with turned balusters are not in original position. Timber-framed partitions.
