GV II
Farmhouse. C17. Limestone ashlar with rebuilt brick gable. Stone slate roof with ashlar ridge stack and brick end stack on stone -base. 2 storeys plus attic; 2-window range. L-shaped plan. C19 door in angle of wing with brick arch. Gable end has a 2-light casement with brick arch. Old plank door above. 2-light casement in gable. To ground floor left of main range a C19 three-light leaded casement. 4-light casement to right. Both windows have wood lintels. To first floor left and right a C19 three-light casement with flat stone arch. One hipped dormer. To left a C18 brick rendered range with dentilled brick eaves cornice and slate roof. One wood cross casement with leaded lights to each floor. Large brick rendered porch with parapet and double doors with leaded glazing. Right side of wing has further casements with wood lintels. Rear gable end has, in gable, a C17 two-light wood mullioned window with wood lintel. Rear of main range has C18 two-light leaded casement to first floor. Stone lean-to with slate roof. Timber framed and brick lean-to to rear of C18 range. Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest.
