Rectory, now house. C15 or C16 origins, with C18 front range, C18 alterations, and early/mid C19 addition. Regular coursed ironstone, with painted stone pilasters and rustication, and single wood cornice. Slate hipped roof; brick internal and ridge stacks to rear. L-plan, with wing on right to rear. 2 storeys; wing 2 storeys and attic; 5-window range. Slightly projecting one-bay centre has banded rustication to angles. Part-glazed 6-panelled door has overlight with decorative glazing. Hood with dentil cornice on elaborate pierced scrolled brackets. Sashes. Door and windows have painted stone surrounds with keystones. Angles have fluted pilasters with entablature blocks and a further short fluted section above. Right return side one-window range. Early/mid C19 one storey and basement addition has rear wall of brick. French window with margin bars and wrought iron balcony. Long rear wing. Low 4-panelled door with stop-chamfered wood lintel. One-light window with hood mould to right. Tripartite sash above has hood mould. Stone slate-hung gable with 3-light casement. Left return side of wing refaced C18. 4-window range. Half-glazed door in third bay. 3-light wood mullioned and transomed window, with tripartite sash above on left. Cross windows and sashes. Right return side irregular. Gable at left end has coped parapet and kneeler. Entrance in right corner has half-glazed 8-panelled door. C20 tile hood. Small lancet with hood mould on first floor on left. 2 and 3-light stone mullioned windows, some with hood moulds, and large casements with glazing bars on first floor. Interior: hall has good open well staircase with 3 turned balusters to each tread, fluted column newel posts, scrolled string and moulded hand rail. Side walls have early C18 panelling of large panels; back wall has C16/C17 panelling. Room to right has good early C18 panelling of large fielded panels and fluted pilasters; C19 Gothic fireplace. Fielded 4-panelled doors. Bedroom has early C18 panelling. Kitchen has wide C16 stone open fireplace with moulded 4-centred arch, sunk spandrels and remains of moulded stone cornice. Broad-chamfered ceiling beam has bar stop. Quarter turn back staircase has splat balusters. Second kitchen at end of wing has wide open fireplace with segmental stone arch. 4 plank doors with strap hinges. 2 bedrooms have C16 moulded stone fireplaces with 4-centred arches and sunk spandrels.
