The following buildingw shall be included:
SP 33 NW SUTTON-UNDER-BRAILES 3/152 Sutton Mill and Millhouse
II
Mill and millhouse. Dated 1844 with earlier origins and early C19 house. Red brick and coursed squared stone with Welsh slate roofs and stone and brick ridge and end stacks. Stone coped gables. Main range with crosswing to left which is part of house and mill. 2 storeys and attic. 3-window main range of 16-pane sash to left and two 3-light casements, the sash with stone flat arch, the casements with brick cambered arches. On ground floor a part-glazed door to centre right within gabled porch. Similar 3-light casement to right and door and further casements to left. 2-light casements in crosswing. Left side of crosswing has door and further 2-light casements. Rear has 16-pane sashes, C20 French door, and C20 windows in lower crosswing section above waterwheel. 3 roof dormers. Interior not inspected but iron breast-shot internal waterwheel remains together with overhung iron pitwheel, iron wallower and iron spur-wheel. Iron bed plates for millstones with 2 pairs of millstones. Iron crown-wheel with layshaft for sack hoist drive. Slack-belt type sack-hoist.
