PRIORS HARDWICK LONDON END (North side) Pingle House

II Shown on Ordnance Survey map as The Elms. House. Mid C18 with late C19/early C20 additions and alterations. Regular coursed ironstone; additions partly of brick. Tile roof, hipped to right, has coped gable parapet to left, and others to rear; both stone and brick end and ridge stacks.

L-plan extended to complex U-plan, with wings to rear. Two storeys and attic; three-window range, with lower one-window addition to left. Entrance front has string course. Late C19/early C20 ribbed door has stone lintel. Open fronted stone and timber porch with glazed side panels. Late C19/C20 leaded wood casements, of three lights to left, two lights to right, have painted wood lintels. Ground floor on right has one window only, with stone flat arch with keystone. Addition has two-light casement with segmental arch on first floor only. Left return side mostly of brick.

Irregular right return side has late C19 gabled projection with four-light casement on right. Rear is three-window range. Recessed centre has C19 brick lean-to with plank door and three-light casement. Three-light casement with painted wood lintel. Three-light box roof dormer. Mid C18 left wing has cross windows on right, and single attic light with transom. Similar two-storey C19 wing on right has central cross windows; lean-to range on left side. Stone wedge lintels with keystones to both wings.
