- II
Farmhouse. Hid C18, with mid and later C19 and mid C20 additions. Brick; C18 rdnge has English bond brick; C19 range, Flemish bond red brick. Simple brick cornices. Old tile roof; brick ridge and lateral stacks. 2-unit plan, extended to L-plan, and subsequently to T-plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range, Entrance in angle has brick parch with 6-panelled door in moulded wood surround and small lancet window above. Lead rainwater head on wall to left, possibly mid C18. Sashes under brick flat arches. Rebuilt external stack at right end. C18 range projects far forward on left. 2-storey C19 canted bay with 16-pane sashes. attic window. Gable with brick corbelling. Left return side, 2-window range. On loft blocked doorway, with window inserted below and to the right. Openings have brick segmental arches. On left hipped dormer has 3-light leaded wood casement. Further late C19 range. Rear is irregular, with single storey wing on left. Interior: Good mid C18 dog-leg staircase with column-on-vase balusters, scrolled string and moulded hand rail. Room with C18 niche and dado rail,
