Includes No.2 Stratford Road (North side).
Terrace of 3 houses, now club and shop and dwelling. Late C18/C19. Red brick with dentil cornice. Hipped tile roof; brick ridge stacks. L-plan. 3 storeys; 7-window range. Ground floor much altered. Wide recessed late C20 entrance in second bay has glazed door and panels. No.50 has mid/late C19 shop front to High Street and Stratford Road. Entrance on curved corner has double-leaf half-glazed doors with overlight and reeded wood surround. 2 rectangular bays with thin shafts, and continuous fascia. Central bay has ogee-headed window, possibly originally a doorway. Other windows late C20. First floor has 16-pane sashes, and narrower round-arched central window. Lower second floor with sashes and casements. Gauged brick flat and other arches. Left return side of 2 bays faces up High Street. Right return side has window on corner and one-window range to Stratford Road. 2-storey; 2-window range to Stratford Road has 2 plank doors with gauged brick arches. Rear of No.46 has twin gables. Interior not inspected.
