2/4 Cold Comfort Farm, cowhouse. approx 20 metres south-east of farmhouse GV II
Cowhouse with hay loft. Late C16/17. Timber framed: close studding with middle rail and brick infill. Tile roof. 3 bays. 2 stable doors and hay loft door to yard. Gables weatherboarded. Rear has single hay loft door. Queen post roof with diagonal braces to tie beams, and curved wind braces. Attached on left single storey C17/early C18 building of square framing and brick infill, with carriage door to end. C19 brick addition on right has stable door and 2 windows, and external staircase to end.
