NZ 2464 SE NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE GREY STREET 20/275 (west side) 12/11/65 Nos. 15 and 17 G.V. II* Shops and houses, now offices. Circa 1835, probably by John Wardle, for Richard Grainger. Classical style. Sandstone ashlar with plinth; Welsh slate roof. Ground floor altered; giant Corinthian Order above contains sash windows with glazing bars in architraves; plain entablature with prominent cornice. Third- floor windows have plain reveals; pilasters to top entablature and blocking course.
