Public house. Late C19. Timber-framing and slate roof with tile cresting. 2-storeys with attic, 2 gabled bays. Hipped lean-to tile roof over ground floor which has 2 canted bays. 1st floor has smaller canted bay window with hipped tile roof to 1st bay; 2nd bay has tripartite projecting window with decorative sill and central arched light. 1st bay attic window. All windows have small-paned casements. Central round-headed entrance has complete fanlight and gable with finial. Side entrance at left hand end. Brick wall to right has gate and gate piers with ball finials and jettied timbered gable at end. 2 brick stacks.
