BIRDHAM - sU 80 SW 16/673 The Hundred House - - II
House, now divided. C17, altered in C19, extended to include building to rear in mid C20. Timber-framed and clad in painted brick. Plain tiled hipped roof with gablets. Tall brick ridge stack at left end of ridge and lower stack to rear right. 2 storeys; slightly irregular 4 window front, three-light wooden casements, under segment-heads on ground floor. Panelled door under 2-light casement second from right. Canted bay with hipped roof on north end. Connected by tile-hung wing to 1 1/2 storey wing of C18 date with C19 cladding. Interior: Heavy scantling timber-frame visible with chamfered spine-beam and wide fireplace with wooden bressummers.
