WESTGATE 1. 972 (North Side) Nos 36 & 38 SU 8504 NE 3/326 II GV 2. No 38 formerly No 35. C18. Continuous roofline with Nos 40 and 42. 2 storeys and attic. 1 dormer each (hipped dormer to No 36; flat roofed dormer to No 38). Sash windows with flush boxes; later C19 windows to No 38; glazing bars missing. Stuccoed. Band above ground floor in No 36. No 36 has doorcase with fluted pilasters and rectangular pediment over; door in reveals; panelled door with top panels cut away and glazed. No 38 has doorway with moulded frame and flat hood over.
Nos 16 to 48 (Even) form a group.
