1. 5401 SOUTH TERRACE ------------- Nos 19 and 20 TQ 0301 2/59

2. Early C19. Stuccoed. Later alterations. 4 storeys and basement with area. No 20 forms a shallow bow. 4 sash windows in all, 3 of them on No 20. Horizontal channelling on ground floor. 1st floor has moulded quoins and also architraves to windows and a band over 2nd and 3rd floors framed by fluted pilasters. 2nd floor has bracketted pediments to windows, segmental in centre of No 20, and scalloped sills. All windows have exterior fringed pelmets. Cornice and parapet. Return to Norfolk Road. No 20 returned to Norfolk Road. Same treatment as front - 3 windows, sashes with exterior pelmets, pediments, alternating segmental and triangular on 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors, cornice and blocking course. Solid porch with paired Corinthian pilasters, cornice and parapet. No 20 also has 3 storey 4 window stucco extension in Norfolk Road, and beyond it a 2 storey top-lit lodge with a bay on the 1st floor, also in Norfolk Road.

Nos 3 to 20 (consec) South Terrace and East Garden Wall of No 3 form a group.
