and the description shall be amended to read:

Row of 4 cottages. Core probably late 17th Century refronted late 18th Century
to early 19th Century. Ground floor red brick in Flemish bond, 1st floor
tile hung. Old tiled roof with one square brick chimneystack and 2 end chimney-
stacks. 2 storeys and attics, 4 windows. 2 dormers. 4 casement windows.
No 2 has 1 original early 19th Century casement with pintle hinges. Ground
floor has 1930s type metal framed casements. Nos 3 and 4 have flat weather
hoods and brackets. Nos 1 and 2 have modern doorcases, No 2 penticed. Rear
of Nos 3 and 4 has roof in two hips and casement windows. No 2 has large spine
beam and open fireplace with graffiti dated 1784 and several sets of initials,
one of them recognizably 'W.N.'
