GV II
House, now 2 shops and office. Earlier C19; altered. Yellow stock brick facade (red brick at rear), modern pantile roof (concealed). Rectangular double-depth plan, with workshop (or service wing) to rear of left side. Two storeys and 3 bays, symmetrical; central round-headed doorway with gauged brick head and fanlight with radiating glazing bars, but now lacking an outer door; large rectangular plate glass windows inserted at ground floor, and three 12-pane unhorned sashed windows at 1st floor, with raised sills and gauged brick heads; parapet with brick "modillions"; hipped roof. The rear has shallow-segmental- headed windows, including three 12-pane unhorned sashes, but is otherwise altered. The 2-storey 2-bay rear wing, rendered at ground floor, has a 9-pane sash to the left, a segmental-headed 3-light casement to the right, and a doorway at 1st floor approached by a flight of wooden steps. Interior altered.
