2 Cottages now 1 Medieval Hall House later 17th wing at rear. Timber framed, later
brick cladding. Hipped thatched roof now plain clay tiles with smoke gablets. Hall
house 2 bays, crown post trusses. Later inserted floor of massive exposed joists and
partitions on central truss. Tie beam and collar purlin cut front. Centre door and
four windows, 3-pane 2-light casements. Rear wing, gabled tile roof linked with level
ridges. Exposed timber frame, square panels of red brick, casement windows, later
brick porch and lean-to enclosing south wall. Upper level herring bone red brick in
lime mortar, original windows in oak diagonal bars now missing. Exposed timbers in
floor. Massive brick stack at junction of wing with large brick deep fireplace and
smaller fireplace above.

Simple stack above roof. Well, disused at SW corner.
