Country House now divided. 1870 by E M Barry in French Renaissance style. Stone with hipped plain tile roofs and large ridge stacks. Square plan with extension to the north side. 2 storeys and attic under arched dormers. Symmetrical south front; 5 bays, two storey angle bays at ends; large arched and bracketed wooden porch under pent roof across the centre 3 bays. Sash windows throughout; and on 1st floor. Main (east) front: 5 bays, projecting 3 bay entrance to left; large segmental open pediment with shell tympanum on scroll brackets over the door; first floor projecting window to right on stepped brackets. Interior: Fireplace surround and ceiling painting in ground floor corner room to the south west.
