2. Timber framed building of C16 appearance of 2 storeys, 3 bays; and a narrower 2-window C18 west extension. This part has a slated roof; the old part has a high pitched tiled roof with compound ridge stack. In left bay some exposed framing (not all genuine) with plaster filling. Other bays of C18 red brick with gauged flat window arches. Sashes with glazing bars throughout. Older part has added cement parapet up to eaves level of C18 part. Ground floor left a small early C19 canted bay and an altered 4-panel door. Next a reproduction Georgian door and 2 plain modern shop windows. Inside visible timber posts resting on a high ground cill.
