GV II
House, now offices. C16 and C17 with C18 and C19 extensions to rear. Timber framed clad below in smooth render, whitewashed roughcast cladding above; brick and flint and some chalk blocks on left hand return front, plain tiled roof above. Two storeys and attics over basement storeys to rear where ground drops away. First floor jettied on end brackets and box bressumer. End stack to left with corbelled top. Two 3-light casement windows on the first floor. Rusticated angle quoins to ground floor with one 2-light casement window either side of central door in pilaster surround. Left hand return front:- shaped gable with tile-on-edge roundel to the first floor. Leaded casement fenestration with tile-on-edge lintels. Rear:- C18 extension at right angles to north, C19 extension to south with square oriel bay window to first floor with 3 foiled head lights to return sides and 3 arched mullioned and transomed front lights. Carved ornate central corbel below. Round-arched sashes in basement storey below with deep surrounds and intersecting tracery heads. Canted bay to left rising through two floors. Interior:- Roof structure with two tiers of purlins in line, main tie beam cut through below and strutted braces inserted to collar.
